On April 1, 2019, Charter Communications Corporate Security broadcast an alert for the theft of 141 Power Supply Batteries valued at approximately $18,000. The batteries were stolen during the month of March from various locations in the Austin, TX area. Based on the alert, two recyclers in the Austin and Waco areas assisted Charter in recovering 72 of the stolen batteries.
